The European Commission (EC) has circulated a working
document on a possible Commission regulation with regard to
motors and their drives, which is currently undergoing
inter-service consultation in advance of the meeting of the
Eco-design of Energy-using Products Framework Directive (the
EuP Directive) Regulatory Committee on Motors, which is
expected to take place on 11 March. The text can be

The next meeting of the UK EuP stakeholder group will be
held on 11 February, 1 Victoria Street, at which Defra will
outline what is known of the Commission's proposals for the
next seven product groups (see timetable below) and the
UK's proposed strategy for each of these products groups. A
