Defra launches a Consultation on the Implementation of the Market Surveillance and Enforcement Requirements of the Eco-design of Energy Using Products (EUP) and Energy Labelling Framework Directives
With numerous implementing measures under both EUP and Labelling recently agreed or planned for agreement over the coming years, Defra is now seeking stakeholders' views on enforcement options with a view to put in place an appropriate Market Surveillance Authority with adequate resources and powers to safeguard the significant benefits of these directives.
