Consultation on sustainable products - improving the efficiency of energy-using products

1. The consultation implements an Energy White Paper commitment to publish a series of papers analysing how the performance of a range of energy-using products will need to improve over the next 10-20 years.  It forms part of a wider annual review and policy development process, supporting delivery of the Government's objectives for energy and for sustainable consumption and production.

Eleven separate papers cover the following areas:

Consumer Electronics Consultation

As with the consultation above, the Consumer Electronics consultation followed publication of the Energy White Paper of 23rd May 2007.  The consultation period on Consumer Electronics closed at the end of August 2007.
