Consultation to Develop UK Sustainable Development Strategy

04/05/2004

The UK Government, Scottish Executive, Welsh Assembly Government and the Northern Ireland Administration are carrying out a consultation to seek your views and ideas on what should be UK sustainable development strategy, and what we and others need to do to meet the challenges we face.

Closure Date is 31 July 2004

Sustainable development is about making economic, social and environmental progress in such a way that we achieve development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Action is needed by all to make further progress.
