DG ENTR Lot 4 preparatory study on laboratory and industrial ovens and furnaces launched
The DG ENTR Lot 4 preparatory study on laboratory and industrial ovens and furnaces was launched in January 2010. The project is being led by Cobham Technical Services (ERA Technology Ltd.) with Bio Intelligence Service as subcontractor and is due to finish in November 2011.
EuP Working Document on a draft Commission Regulation on labels for refrigerating appliances
The European Commission (EC) has circulated a working document on a possible Commission regulation with regard to labels for refrigerating appliances, in advance of the EC inter-service consultation. These working documents include the format of the label and build on the draft Commission Directives for energy labelling of refrigerating appliances as submitted to the Regulatory Committee in March 2009 as well as taking on board changes agreed on the substance of the recast energy labelling Directive 92/75/EEC in November 2009, which will provide a framework for the Commission to adopt delegated regulations for energy labelling of energy-related products.
