    The Working Plan

    Information on development of implementing measures will be added when this is available, and this section will be updated as there is further news. Details are given here once product preparatory studies are complete.  The EC released on the 30th of January 2008 an indicative plan of the adoption process of possible implementing measures for the different product groups. The Commission have stated that the plan is approximate, and subject to change as the planning is adjusted to the real advancement of preparatory work. The document can be found here.

    Consultation Forum meeting held on 16th October 2008 which discussed the Commission working document.

    Regulatory Committee held on 30th March 2009 agreed the draft Implementing Measure and Labelling Directive (see here).

    Following European Parliament scrutiny, the final eco-design regulation was published in Official Journal on 23rd July 2009 (see here) and entered into force 20 days later on 12th August 2009.

    However the energy label proposal was rejected by the European Parliament on 6th May 2009.

    Regulatory Committee held on 26th September 2008 agreed the draft tertiary lighting Implementing Measure (see here).

    Following European Parliament scrutiny, the final Regulation was published in Official Journal on 24th March 2009 (see here) and entered into force 20 days later on 13th April 2009.  

    Amendments (with explanatory note) to the Regulation were discussed at a Consultation Forum on 15th September 2009 (along with further amendments from ELC/CELMA).
